Want to celebrate Halloween in an original way this year? Trinquez with "La 31", the potimarrons beer from the vineyard / microbrewery Les Vents d'Ange. Do not worry, 31 does not refer to the alcohol level (the title is 6%), but to October 31, date of Halloween.

Made from their own malt from St-Joseph-du-Lac, making it a real beer, the most interesting ingredient still remains potimarron.

Copper-colored with orange highlights, its color is reminiscent of those of autumn, including pumpkins. Columns of very fine and persistent bubbles testify as for them of a beautiful work of refermentation in bottle ... a little at the champenoise!

But the 31 does not seduce only by her dress. His nose is just as charming. Pumpkin aromas mingle with hints of caramel, sweet spices, and roasting. This warm side is also found in the mouth, thanks to an enveloping texture and a crisp bubble but not disturbing. With his nose as greedy, we would have expected something very heavy in the mouth, but this is not the case. The balance is there, thanks to a pleasant freshness that supports the whole work.

It can be savored alone, on an autumn afternoon. But you can also dare to use it as a side dish for a comforting meal, such as a maple ham, or caramelized spare ribs. The 31 is appreciated even for dessert, with dark chocolate ... that you will of course harvested during your door-to-door Halloween!
